The Nigerian Army has confirmed from the recent reports of the Premium times that; the Army may have lost about 105 of it's men to attack by Boko Haram insurgents in Gudunbali, Borno State of Nigeria.
The insurgents were reported to have attacked Gudunbali in Borno State, on Wednesday Nov. 18, 2015. As a result of the attacks, the 157 Battalion of the Nigerian Army could not account for at least 105 Soldiers including their commanding Officer.
According to the reports of the Vanguard, the commander of the Division is expected to hold a press conference on the issue on Thursday 19, November 2015.
These recent attacks on the Nigerian Military came on the heels of the Suicide attacks on Yola and Kano respectively.
After a lull on several weeks, the recent state of attacks on the Nigerian Military and Civilian targets suggests that the insurgents might have regrouped after coming under heightened attacks from the Nigerian Military.
